Hi Alois and Jeff,

I'm Dilena.  My backhand open up is probably one of my biggest weapons, there's a lot of spin on it however, when I play a backhand topspin from topspin ball I'm hardly getting any spin at all and keeps going outside the table.

What do you think is happening and how should I improve this ?

Hi Dilena,

For this ball you need to brush over the top of the ball finely.  You don't need to lift the ball as it already has topspin on it.  You won't get as much topspin on the ball as with your stroke against backspin but by brushing over the top of the ball you will generate enough spin to get the ball to dip onto the table with topspin.
