Hi Alois and Jeff:

For the Backhand Counterhit finishing position, I am curious to know why does the forehand side of the racket need to face the roof?

Hi Raymond,

That way you are using your arm in the correct motion.  This keeps the bat going in one direction and keeps the stroke consistent.
