Strategy
i've been training for 3 or 4 months already. and my coach told me that my backhand is good and he will develop it more..... but is having a good backhand a good game strategy?
Hi Samuel,
In todays game you need to have 2 strong sides. The ball is moving too fast to be able to cover the table with one side. So having a good backhand is important but so is having a good forehand.
Work on both strokes equally. If you find that your backhand is a lot stronger then spend some time working on the forehand to get it up to the level.
Miao Miao, one of Australia's best female players, takes on the in form veteran Brian Berry. Who will prevail and make it through to the final? Miao with her pimples will be looking to play fast attacking Table Tennis. Brian Berry will be looking to mix things up with his unique blend of attack and defence.
