Strokes
When must attack the opponent???........Can we Do a forehand topspin on a short push????
Hi Willy,
In general you want to make an attacking stroke whenever you can.
It is difficult to do a topspin stroke from a short push. If you want to do an attacking stroke form the shot push, use the Forehand Flick or Backhand Flick.
If the ball only bounces once on your side of the table you should use the Topspin stroke.
How should you move if you are a defender. The footwork is quite different to that of an attacker because you have a lot more distance to cover. However, we will show you the simple movement patterns that will help you to be able to cover the whole court effectively.
