there is a new phenomenon these days in table tennis games ,,, the player who attacks always win and the other lose. Therefore, we should play in attacking position to win.  SO ,, could you tell me about some skills in attacking and some skills in spin shoots ,,, especially I'm from Egypt and here there aren't many clubs so that i can train  table tennis ,, and could you please tell me the standard specifications of the table tennis . Thank you so much ,,, i admire your play

Hi Besho,

This is a very good tactic and understanding this will allow you to improve your game well.

The basic idea is that if the ball is only going to bounce once on your side of the table it is definitely time to make an attacking topspin.  This is something that can be trained by doing some simple training drills that you will find in Training Secrets Revealed DVD.

This will give you a lot of different ways to practice what is called 'Third Ball Attack'.

The dimensions of a Table Tennis Table are 2.74 metres by 1 525 m.  The surface of the table is 76cm off the floor.  The net is 15.25 cm.

All of this information and lots f other information on the Rules  can be found in our Rules of Table Tennis lesson.
