Hi!
My friend is always serving with a lot of sidespin which makes the ball go to the right. I know that I need to tilt my bat to neutralise the spin but when I do that my friend can easily make an attack stroke against me which makes me losing. I have also tried to generate my own spin when sending the ball back but I don't get a lot of advantage out of it.
Is it possible for me to do an attacking stroke against that kind of serve? If it's possible, how should I attack?
Thanks! Eddie
Hi Eddie,
You can attack it. Again allow for the sidespin and make a flick or a topspin if the ball is longer. This is not an easy shot but you can develop it over time.
