Equipment
Coach, I am getting my first antispin rubber this week and I am not sure on how to use it on my return shots. Can you flick your wrist on shots or do you just push the ball as with long pips. Please explain in detail. Love your site; please keep up the good work. Thanks, Steve
Hi Steve,
You use anti-spin rubber very much like long pimples. Don;t try to flick your wrist too much but punch through the ball. Have a fairly straight wrist trough out your strokes.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
