Strategy
I have just put Yasaka 1.5mm anti on my backhand. I’ve got Tenergy 05 on my FH. Do you have any advice / tips for using anti as a set up mechanism for FH attack? I’m a ~60 year old vet. Jeff
Hi Jeff,
The main thing is to keep the ball low and try to get your opponent to lift the ball a little higher so that you can attack with the forehand. You can do this with slower or faster balls. Also utilise the reversing effect when they play a topspin.
The two strokes to work on first with the anti spin are the block and the attack off a backspin ball. If you can give your opponent different balls to deal with that leads to uncertainty you will start to get opportunities with your forehand.
