Whenever i play the game, I concentrate only on hitting the ball correctly. Please give me tips on how to analysis the Opponent's game and play accordingly. What are the things I should observe while playing the game?

Hi Abhinav,

Technique is what you should focus on during your training time.  During a match you need to 'let it all happen' as much as possible.

You really don't have any time to think about technique during a match.

Some things you can focus on with your tactics are;
Which side is weaker for your opponent
When you attack, wher is it best to hit to, their forehand, backhand or middle?
When you block or defend, where is it best to play to, forehand, backhand or middle.
What serves of your don't they like?
Where don't they lke the return?
Do they like the ball close to the net or deep?

These are some of the things you can look at.  During the match see if you can tell what is happening, where you are winning and losing points.

There are plenty of things to think about.  The ideal is if all of this happens automatically.
