I currently have been using a Killerspin Jet 800 Speed N1 for a bit over a year now but alas my rubbers are beginning to wear. Would it be more cost effective to buy the same paddle, or to simply replace the rubbers. If the rubbers should be replaced, do you have any recommendations on what rubbers to use in order to create a bat with a similar playing style? Lastly, I own rubber cement so would this be okay to apply the rubbers with?
Thank you very much in advance,
Nico
Hi Nico,
I am not sure but I would think a rubber like Mark V would be similar if not a little faster to allow some development.
You do need to use specific Table Tennis glue. Rubber cement depending on the type may be too tacky or not tacky enough.

thank you. I feel as if I need more control in my game and have decided to pick a rubber with less speed. I‘m torn between the Andro GTT 40 and the Palio CJ8000 Biotech 36-38°. These two rubbers seem to have similar properties, but the Palio has a lower price. Any thoughts?
The Andro is 25 USD, while the Palio is 11 USD.

I will ask others to comment on those.
However if you think they have similar properties then choose the cheaper option.

Hi Jayant,
What is the issue with the rubbers you are using at the moment?
