Advantage of tilting the wrist

Strokes

hello.  I have noticed that the better players seem to tilt their blades forward when they hold them.  Blade manufactures even sell blades with ergonomic handles.  The idea, (I was told) was to create a straight line between your arm and the blade.  I noticed you also hold it in this manner.  It does not come naturally to me.  It feels uncomfortable.  Is it really necessary to elevate the game?

Hi Rohan,

Just try to hold the bat a bit lighter in your hand.  This will drop it into this position.  Relaxation comes from being confident with your technique.  At first it will all be a bit tight.
