Hi Coaches, is it true that if you are throwing ball high or when you pull back your bat after hitting the ball you get more spin? Thanks

Hi Ivandri,

When you throw the ball higher you do get more spin because the ball will be travelling faster when it hits the bat and therefore will spin faster.

When you talk about the bat pulling back after hitting the ball it is more about the snapping action of the wrist before contact that makes the bat travel faster and therefore generate more spin.  It is more like a whipping action.
