Hi Coach,

I am a fast player and am looking towards buying a custom built racket, by my research, i shortlisted the yasaka pryde 2.0 for backhand and DHS Hurricane 3 Neo 2.15 for forehand.

I am confused which blade to go for so would like some help about it.

Any suggestions on the rubber will also be welcome.

Hi Ayush,

Get an all-round type of blade.  Each manufacturer has one in that range.  THe one we have is the PingSkills Touch which would also be suitable.

The rubber choices you are thinking about are fine.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
