Me and my dad play ping pong a lot and he is bigger and stronger than me and he has a forehand that can hit it almost every time i smash it there.  My problem is that i serve the pendulum to his backhand and he returns it deep to my back hand and my back hand isnt my best. so i return it and he can smash the backhand back and i can't is there any way i can get to my forehand or make my serve much harder to return i would appreciate it thanks

Hi Jake,

Just try serving the ball more to his forehand side.  This will make the natural angle for him to return to your forehand. One of the advantages of the pendulum serve is that you are in a better position to play a forehand after you serve.  You could even more across the table a little to get the serve wider to his forehand side.
