Hello again,

Couldn't find any discussion on this here. I heard that in July 2014, the balls are going to change, presumably due to a worldwide ban in celluloid? Is this true?

Do you have any updates on it?

What is going to come of future table tennis?

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.

What ? Do you think that this will change the performance of the ball ? And also, do you know why they ban the celluloid ball and make the new ball ? I think many people will complain this because of many celluloid balls here especially for them that buy the training one for multi-ball that need to buy the new one...

What i have heard of players testing the new poly ball. The ball bounces alittle higher, alittle harder to create spin and it also might sound broken. I have also heard that they banned it because the stuff inside the ball is flameable. It sucks but i think pro's and players will get used to it over time and the companies would make rubbers suited for the new balls. Im pretty sure they are experimenting onit right now. Anyways... Just because the balls are out for testing right now doesnt mean it will be exactly what it is right now or they would be using it by now.
