Strokes
I have seen some of the strokes some players hit, with lots and lots of power; and for flicks to have more power is wrist power important? If it is very important, how do we increase our wrist and shoulder power. Without wrist power can't we do any strokes with much power?

Hi Ganesh,
Wrist power is important but timing is more important. It is generating the speed of the racket at the point of impact that will enable you to hit a good fast flick.
Power comes with a combination of strength and speed so you need both of those to generate the fast ball.

The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
