Strategy
Greetings PingSkills Team,
I was surprisingly asked by my friend who is much higher level than me to perform an analysis of what is his win condition. He described it as major point-gaining type of play.
Could you give me some more information of what it is about and what should I look for during the analysis?
Thanks
Dan
Hi Dan,
There are lots of ways to collect analysis on matches.
Some things that I think are useful are:
What type of serve
Where was the serve placed
What type of return was played
Where was it placed
Who made the first attacking shot
Where was the winner hit to
There are lots of other things that you can examine as well.

What I did was that I counted for each point
1)who was on the serve
2)if the studied player lost or won
3)if he had lost/won by attacking a serve,4th ball attack,3rd ball attack,5th ball attack,longer rally,or directly by serve/passive return
What do yo uthink about this type?
That is a good start.
