Training
What is the best way to warm up and cool down before and after playing? Also what streches should I be doing and how long should I spend warming up and cooling down.
Hi Thomas,
Take a look at our Training Secrets Revealed DVD. This gives you lots of ideas on warm ups and cool downs.
You can start with a slow jog for a few minutes. This will get the heart rate up. Then some general stretches are good, starting with the shoulders and neck and working your way down the body.
The main areas are the shoulders and legs. Make sure you stretch all the different muscles in the leg especially the quads, hamstrings, and calves.
If you can get Training Secrets Revealed DVD it will help you.
A slow spinny topspin can be very difficult to deal with. Think about using this type of loop in your game to draw errors from your opponent. Learn about some different ways to execute this stroke and find out if your opponent has difficulties with this type of ball.
