Hi Alois

This question may be stupid but i wonder why if i play a volley I loose a point

Hi Nader,

It is just one of the rules of the game. Unlike a Tennis court, the table is so small it may be too easy to volley the ball away for a winner.

Touching the Table

Are you allowed to touch the table during play? The only thing that isn't allowed to touch the table is your free hand. You leg, elbow, playing hand, and even your bat are allowed to. You are not allowed to move the table however.
