Usual learning time

Serving

Trying not to get discouraged and need some perspective.  For example have been rewatching and practicing the backspin and sidespin serves about 1 hour daily for one month and still really struggling. Happy to stick with it until I get it, but should learning these serves taking months or even years?  Hearing some information about that could sure be encouraging (or not). I am a good athlete.

Thanks so much

Hi Steven,

It can take a long time to learn serves.

As a Premium member why don't you send me a short video of you doing the serves.  There may be something simple that I can help you with.  Even if the video is on a phone it will do.

If you can't do that let me know and we will find a different solution.
