Third ball attack

Strategy

I set up well, I get the opponent to pop up my serve or return slow and then I mess it up by hitting to flat or into the net. How do I do an effective 3rd ball without just pushing it back? Thanks, Angie

Hi angie,

Focus on making sure you are getting topspin on the 3rd ball.

The topspin will make the shot more consistent and reliable.

Hi Angie,

Yes that ball is difficult.  Don't try to hit it too fast and focus on more spin.
