I've been wondering, but it seems that the chinese rubbers that I own, specifically Neo Hurricane 3 and DHS Hurricane 8 Hard, both only become tacky in colder temperatures, but when exposed to room temperature, they lose tackiness.
Hi Stan,
That is interesting. I would think they would become more tacky in the heat.
Others that have these rubbers may be able to offer advice.
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.

My DHS Hurricane 3 lost tackiness after I wiped it with sponge several times. What a pity..

I've heard people complaining about chinese rubbers loosing their surface tackiness in humid atmospheres. I guess when it's really hot and there are dosens of players sweating in a poorly ventilated arena, it probably gets quite humid too...
