Hi Fesih,

Thanks for the suggestions.

We like to base our videos on skill development but may branch out as well.  Our Learn the Backspin Reverse Pendulum Serve serve is up over 1,400,000 hits now.

Hi Fesih,

If the opportunity presents itself to Jeff or Alois for a friendly match with some table tennis celebrity, it would sure be cool to record it and share it in the blog. It would certainly gain Pingskills a large number of spectators on that occasion. Would many of those be interested in the technical content of the site, be returning visitors, members and ultimately premium members?  I’m not too sure. So I wouldn’t advise to invest too much time to make such video happen if it doesn’t come naturally.

I’d personally much prefer to see Jeff or Alois playing any unknown medium level player and give us comments about how they approached the match, how they tested their opponent’s abilities in the initial phase, how they adapted to their serves, which weaknesses they were able to point out and how they adjusted their strategy accordingly (I’d like to hear that from their opponent too). I think that would be much more interesting than to learn how Jeff or Alois managed to win a couple of points in a match against Ma Long or Ovtcharov (no offense!)

I personally would like to see a videos of common pingskill readers with slow mo and explanation of their technique mistakes and suggestions. I am sure plenty of readers here would be willing to upload themselves for such an investigation....
