Hi,

is the speed of the bat affected by the blade or the rubber? Thanks

Hi Hao,

The speed of the bat is mainly the rubber.  The blade will effect it as well but not as much.

However the speed of your shots is also effected by the speed of your arm swing, the use of your wrist, legs and rotation.  To do all this well you need to have good technique and be relaxed while swimming thorough as well.
