Smoothing the edges of the Racket

Rules

Since it is more aerodynamic for something to have a smoothed edge instead of a flat edge like a square:

Is it allowed for a racket to be smoothed a bit near the edges for people who use their loop a lot.

If it is allowed, do you think it is worth it?

Hi Bennett,

I don’t think it would be allowed.  The rules about the racket says that the surface has to be flat.

The rule is:

2.04.01  The racket may be of any size, shape or weight but the blade shall be flat and rigid.

Doubles Serving Rules

In this video we go over the somewhat complicated rules of serving for doubles in table tennis. There are a couple of extra rules for doubles that you don't apply to singles. In doubles you always serve from the right hand box diagonally to your opponent's right hand box. Each player has 2 serves each. If you've just been receiving then it's your turn to serve next.
