How can i smash the ball on the edges or play at the edges.
Hi Noumanfaiz,
When you are training focus on how close to the edges you can get. This will mean that you shouldn't worry if the ball just misses the side of the table. This needs to happen if you are wanting to improve your ability to get the ball close to the edge.
In a match you can give yourself a little more margin for error.
A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position. So keep the ball short on your serve and try and catch them unprepared. Watch the video to find out more great tactics to use against a defensive chopper.
