Hi Alois,I usually play table tennis in school just for fun,but I really get bored when I am playing against guys who always spin the ball and it goes too slow for doing anything except returning the ball until someone makes mistake. Can you tell me how to attack or make my opponent play faster cause i have control when I am playing fast table tennis.

Hi Andrej,

I understand that this is a frustrating part of the game.  I see it often in players.  However, this is a crucial part of the game to learn.  Without true understanding of spin it is difficult to progress quickly.

Keep trying to watch the ball and learn what type of spin is on the ball.  All good players have this ability and understanding that they have developed by playing a lot of different types of players.

Take a look at our lesson on Understanding Spin for more information.
