Serving
Hi,
I'am a beginner in table tennis. The only problem i have with my service is toss. Olympians like for example Xu Xin, Ma Long while serving always gets his toss on the right pathway as if he will never go wrong. If there is any technique in toss? please tell me!!.
Another thing is that a friend of mine has a very fast forehand loop action whenever we are playing his fast loop doesn't give me much reaction time especially when he hits on the body (i use shake hand grip). How can i tackle it?
Hi Mayank,
You should spend some time practicing throwing the ball up straight. You can do this without serving. Put a piece of paper on the floor in front of you and then throw the ball up and try to land it on the piece of paper.
To return that fast forehand of your friend think about firstly making it more difficult for him to hit the ball harder. If he is hitting the ball harder, really try to focus on the ball. The better you watch the ball the quicker you will track the ball and see its direction.

- Wide Serves: Understand the tactical advantage of serving wide and how it can open up the table for your next shot.
- Targeting Weaknesses: Tips on identifying and exploiting your opponent's weaker side with precision serves.
