usually i have no one to play with so what i do is make the two parts of table perpendicular and play against myself.....like a mini squash kind but the problem is although it increases my speed it doesnot help much with spins.....thats y if i play i usually have problems with spins like pendulum both clockwise and anticlockwise...(i can do these  serves quite easily) its only when the oponent does it its difficult to catch ...Any suggestions>? :)

Hi,

You could try to rig up a return board with rubber on it.  It works on the same principle as you are doing now except there is rubber to hit against.  This will give you some spin back to deal with.
