Hi Alois, was just wondering, whats the best way to get backspin on the ball? I watched your reverse pendulem serve tutorial but I can't seem to get a lot of backspin. Whats the best way?

Hi Galen,

The most important thing is the angle of your racket.  Really focus on it being flat so that you can brush under the ball.  You have to bend your wrist like you are trying to touch your fingers to your wrist.

It is almost impossible to get pure backspin, there will always be some sidespin as well so don't worry if the ball doesn't came straight back to you.  If there is a difference between your normal reverse and the backspin reverse you will make it difficult for your opponent to get the ball back.
