I play with others at my school, and they tend to do low backspin or topspin. What would be the best way to return such serves, in your opinion?

Hi David,

To return the backspin serve try using the push strokes.  You need to allow for the amount of spin.  Adjust the angle of your bat to allow for the different amounts of spin.
