Hi,

I just played a match, i faced an opponent who could only take almost all points on his sidespin serve, and was not able to take any other point, i am usually good with playing sidespin from a right hander, and i put it away to the opposite end loop and come over, however this time around the sidespin was vicious, how do i counter the sidespin, i have tenergy 05's and they are very fast and spinny thanks

Hi Shay,

It is just important to allow for the sidespin.  As you say this is vicious sidespin, you just need to allow a bit more.  The Tenergy should help you tro grip the ball back.

Though it is coming the other way from a lefthander, the same principle applies.  Most players will like the ball swinging one way in preference to the other. It is then a matter of getting used to this spin.  Keep working on it.  It will get better.
