Hi Alois:

I was watching your video "the most important skill in table tennis",  where you and Jeff were hitting the ball on the table.  You guys are doing a great job for all people, who want to play this great game of table tennis.  I express my sincere gratitude to you and Jeff.

I am a beginner in table tennis, who want to play, but still searching for the correct place and for the coach who can guide me in a proper manner and make me play this game as it should be played in a proper manner.

My question is whether we need to use black portion of the racquet while playing rallies and during service we need to use red portion of the racquet.

Awaiting your kind response.

With Warm Regards,

Ram

Hi Ram,

If both rubbers are the same then the colour of the rubber doesn't make a difference.  The only time it will matter is if you have two different types of rubbers on your racket.

I'm glad you are liking the site and you are finding it useful.

Hi Rishabh,

They are both very good quality rubbers.  I have used both rubbers.  I think Vega Pro is a more affordable rubber and only slightly lesser in quality than Tenergy 05.
