Receiving very wide serves

Receiving

Hi Alois,

I have been up against many opponents who exploit my weakness of not being able to reach very wide serves on forehand or backhand side. I have noticed that the opponents usually vary the position from which they are serving, like sometimes serving from their forehand side and sometimes from the backhand corner. As a lefty where should I stand to receive serves, specifically when the server is a righty and varies his serving position?

Hi Abhinav,

You should vary your position as well when they change position.

In our lesson on Receiving Position in the Receiving Secrets section we explain this concept for you.
