Hi Alois, in recent times I’m getting annoyed by a left handed player who only pushes the ball.  If I give it to his forehand he just gives a slow spinny high sidespin.  I'm a close to the table player with long pips ox on backhand. What do I do?

Hi Sujeet,

I think you need to be patient.  If he only pushes then you aren't under pressure to attack the ball.  It is more about how to get him to make the mistake first.

You can utilise the long pimples to keep the ball in play.  If you get annoyed then he is winning.  You need to stay relaxed and focus on consistency and keeping the ball in play.
