Pendulum topspin serve

Hello Coach

I can do under spin, side spin pendulum serve, but unable to figure out how to do top spin serve. Saw a few videos but not sure what am i missing. Please share some tips and/or videos to help learn it.

Hi Vijay,

The topspin serve can be difficult to understand.

Try thinking about brushing up the back of the ball and contacting the ball really late in the swing of the pendulum. If you think about it you want to hit it on the part of the Pendulum motion when the racket is on the upward path.
