Hi, coach!

If there is only one table, what is the optimal number of students in a group training session? At most how many students should be in a session?

Best wishes, Ardak

Hi Ardak,

When it comes to the optimal number of students in a group training session, it depends on a few factors such as the age and skill level of the students. Generally speaking, if there is only one table, you wouldn't want to have more than 4 or 5 students in the session for the best learning experience. The optimal would be two.  It's important to take into account the individual needs of the students, and the more students there are, the less individual attention each can receive. The more each student can participate and receive feedback from the coach, the more successful the session will be.

#46 - Tournament Preparation 2

In the first week of your preparation we focused on the consistency of your third ball attack. This week, since the third ball is so important, we are going to continue working on this. However this week we are going to focus on placement. It is really important tactically to think about where you are going to play the ball. We build upon the drills from last week so you can improve the effectiveness of your third ball through placement.
