sir, with due respect I would like to say that I am just a new comer.I have started playing last year (from june12-midle of august12) after that I had break of 5 months now it's been 1 and a half month I'm playing. I'm playing in a way satisfactory to myself in most of the cases. my shorts are going fine clear with the actions as well often a little inconsistent but fine. Now the biggest problem I face is moving fast often I don't move fast as if it is not that spontaneous from inside me . my height is 5ft 4' and often I don't reach to the fine position to make a good timing. How can I solve this problem? Thank you

Hi Redwan,

Practicing the movement patterns is important.  Try to do as many footwork drills s you can during training.

Take a look through our free download of Training Drills to see some suggestions of footwork drills that you can use.

Once you improve your footwork and get into position quicker then the strokes will also become better.

It sounds like you are doing well for only playing for a short amount of time.
