watching table tennis 2021 olympics - what is the server doing when they put the ball and there head at table level before the serve

Hi Harold,
It is often just part of a preparation routine. Getting the head down low can also help to get your body down low. Some players go to extremes that don’t reallly help but it is just part of what they do.
