Hi coach.

Can you please make a video that show's legal and nonlegal points?

I saw in your Will see/Won't see video that you made a point(on the will see part)by getting the ball to the other side by bringing it under the net and i always have been told that that's a nonlegal point 'cos there is an "invisible continue of the net that the ball need's to go above" and i got really confused.

I want to know every way that the ball will hit the other side and it will be/won't be my point(including serves).

Thanks.

Hi Orel,

It is perfectly OK for the ball to go around the net.  I definitely doesn't have to go over the net or an imaginary extension of that line.

We have a lesson on our Youtube channel on Essential Table Tennis Rules that will help you out.

Doubles Serving Rules

In this video we go over the somewhat complicated rules of serving for doubles in table tennis. There are a couple of extra rules for doubles that you don't apply to singles. In doubles you always serve from the right hand box diagonally to your opponent's right hand box. Each player has 2 serves each. If you've just been receiving then it's your turn to serve next.
