hej ;)

i love your tutorial ;)

one question ...

i think the fact that i am lefthand player gives me more benefits  to play penholder then a righhand player, might that be true ?

thx, chris from austria

Hi Chris,

I don't think this is necessarily true.  Perhaps you like playing against the penhold style.  What do you do as a tactic against them?

Thanks for your kind words about the tutorials.

Tactics Against A Defensive Chopper

A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position. So keep the ball short on your serve and try and catch them unprepared. Watch the video to find out more great tactics to use against a defensive chopper.

ok.... i think i explained myself a bit wrong xD

i was thinking that, me as a lefthand player, the penhold backhand give me not that troubel as a righhand cause ive got a good backhand, like the most lefthand do ;)

and i believe that i dont have to reach out that far with my backhand as ling as i play vs righthand

am i wrong ?

vs penholder style i would serv long and fast on the backhand

Hi Christian,

Your English is fine... If you like that angle then that is good.  You are right, the angle is easier for you.
