Strokes
In your previous video, you've said not to use the backhand smash that frequently but since I'm a left handed player, I receive most of the shots on my backhand so in that case, shouldn't I use the backhand smash more often or do you have another strategy for that?
Hi Aiyan,
Even for us left handed players it is important to step around and use your forehand when the ball is up higher. You get more power with the forehand than the backhand. When the ball is up higher it gives you more time to move into position.
Want to learn a reliable forehand topspin that doesn’t fly off the table? In this video, we break it down step-by-step—from your feet position, to your start and finish, to mastering the brushing contact that makes the ball dip with topspin.
Whether you’re just learning or looking to tidy up your technique, this is a great place to start.

Agreed but the switching is easy for those who play for more hours in a week. But for some folks like us it will be difficult for us to switch we do not play more than 2 hours for a week
