Hi Alois, each day in table tennis when I go to practice I struggle to train because I get lazy very fast and only get to mess around but when I get a partner my brain gets more serious and practices more but when im alone with my robot I just feel too lazy and I don't know what to do to practice and I can’t improve, but my question is what can I do to start taking it more serious?

Thanks for reading! And I also practice with the rook just so you notice.

Hi Pasquale,

Set yourself dome things to focus on with your training session with the robot.  It is all about thinking about your improvement in a particular area.  If you have that as a focus, then the training will become more interesting.

Forehand and Backhand Topspin

The forehand and backhand topspin strokes are two of the most important strokes in table tennis. In lesson 6 you start playing these strokes first by getting someone to throw the ball to you. This makes it easier to get into the correct position and concentrate on the correct start and finish position, and the essential brushing contact. You can then progress to using this in a rally where your training partner learns to block the topspin back.
