Strategy

Hi Alois and Jeff.

I am a hardcore looper which used to cause a lot of trouble for my opponents some of them used to give up in between of the match.

But now times have changed and they just kill my loop.

Now I want to mix my game with a bit of counter punching and some crispy shots which makes it easy for me to be unpredictable and get those points.

I have been trying this technique for 1 week and there is no change.

What drills would you recommend for this.

Hi Harkaran,

For the counterpunching, do some 4th ball drills where your opponent serves you push just long and then try to counter their opening topspin.

Develop some variation with speed on your topspin as well.  Think about playing some ball slower with more spin.  This can make a real difference in a match.
