Like in my last question, my style have become somewhat similar to LGL, Near table fast attack on both ends. I already know the Pros and Cons abt this style, Pros: Jamming your opponent with fast ball which restrict opponent time to use what he/she is good in, less time for opponent to respond. Cons: Have to respond fast as well and long pushes can jam myself as well. But LGL seems to have done well in the returns and his return of long pushes to him, when i was watching him vs J.O Waldner. How did he do it, cause i still find it a bit of difficult to "smack" Long pushes.

Hi,

This comes down to a lot of training.  To be able to cope with those fast balls, Liu GUoliang has done 10000 hours of training.

#33 - Defending with the Block

One thing you can be sure of is that every top player will be able to keep the ball on the table with a solid block when under pressure. It seems that this is a pre-requisite to becoming a good player. That's why in this training session we focus on improving your block. If you can absorb your opponent's attack you will be in a good position to win a match against them.
