hello sir, i am 20 years old and i have just begun to play table tennis, can i master this game within a short span? Also to ask that the club in which i go, in that club no one teaches us how to play the shots. Also to mention that the experienced players never advice us on how to play and to bring to your notice i want to tell you that these players when they go for state level matches they can't even score a single point. also in my city there is only one club. So i welcome your suggestions for my query. And i would lilke to tell you that i want to master this game!

Hi Shoaib,

Unfortunately, this game does take a long time to master but you can learn to play well in a short amount of time with a lot of concentrated practice.

Concentrate on your basic strokes first.  f you can get them right you will then be bale to progress faster.  Watch the best layers in your club and see how they play the strokes.  Then try to copy them.  Watch them as much as you can because \this is a very good way for the brain to remember the movements.
