I am losing matches because I can't finish the point when I get a hgh ball on my forehand. I am consistently hitting the ball long. What are the most probable causes?

Hitting it too soon?  Bat angle?

Thanks

Hi Don,

It could be a few things but try hitting the ball when it is a bit higher and start your bat up higher.  HAve you taken a look at our lesson on the Forehand Smash?  If not take a look.  There may be something there that will help you.

Additionally, we discuss how to adjust your bat angle if the ball goes long, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the same start and finish positions without coming across your body.

Whether you're a beginner aiming to build a solid foundation or an advanced player looking to refine your technique, this comprehensive guide is designed to enhance your game.
