Strategy
I have a tournament and i really dont know how he plays i am a good player and i am the first ranked in my school as a leader i am feeling very nervous what do i do to prepare a good match strategy....thanks
Hi Usama,
Focus on the things that you do well. Think about practicing these in the next few days.
On the day of the tournament, watch the other player and see if you can see some weaknesses in his game. It may be a serve that you can do or a particular placement of the ball that he doesn't like.
Also make sure you enjoy the experience of playing in the tournament and try to learn as much as you can.
A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position. So keep the ball short on your serve and try and catch them unprepared. Watch the video to find out more great tactics to use against a defensive chopper.
