Sir, i normally stand on the left side of the table. I face difficulty if short back spin service is done on my forehand. I normally try to push/ chop the service & the opponent attacks with top spin. Kindly advice as how to place the ball in such a manner so that I can attack the return.

If the ball is low with backspin you are better off to make a short push on the first ball. Then wait for your opportunity to attack the next ball if it comes long.
The other more risky option is to play the Backhand Sidespin Flick. You will see that a lot of the tp players now are using this stroke. It is possible to play this off a short backspin ball but it will take a bit of practice.

, I think with some practice i can use this effectively. Can you please guide me as how to play back hang top spin as well. Also please let me know the placement of leg and body movement for the effective back hand top spin. Thanks- Anushka
