Hi PingSkills Team

Recently,I have read an interview with Norio Takashima and he said that a classical chopper has much less chance to win today.

So I want to ask...how should appear the player who would be able to play equally to todays attackers using mainly defensive strokes-in your opinion? (I mean a player who simply does not use offensive loop)

Is a good idea to switch between chopping, lobbing, or what else is a defense...

And also,I have read about so called "fishing". Can you tell me what is this?

thanks
DK

Hi DK,

I think variation of spin is the key but I think that having an attack is also very important for today’s choppers.

It is only partial answer :D

I know that I need to have an attack

I just do not want to "be able to break my own wall"=I want my attack to be strong, but weaker compared to my defense.

But can you please tell me how should appear the player to win by pure defense (imagination)

And also you did not mention what is "fishing",please, can you tell?

You need to use a lot of variation of spin and placement if you are only defend.

I think it works

Today I surpassed my record and thus make my arrogant opponent to lose his bet with his teammates :)
